We can save the environment through minimal and eco-friendlypackaging. Many industry go crazy to create those packagingthat really eco friendly stuff. There are Manufacturer provides autobaggers, packaging systems, imprinters, industrial poly bags and form fill seal systems. Boxes tend to be too big or too small sometimes making them to be a not so perfect packagingfor some goods. Because of this, designer Patrick Sung decided to design flat sheets of recyclable corrugated and called it Universal Packaging System (UPS).
From the flat sheets of recyclable corrugated cardboard, designer Patrick Sung came up with a compact and eco-friendly packaging called Universal Packaging System or UPS. The patterns make it easy to fold and conform to almost any shape while maintaining structural rigidity and protecting the contents.
Back in the day we showcased our favourite examples of Eco Friendly Bamboo product design, we thought it would be interesting to revisit this topic. But this time we wanted to concentrate on product conceptualization, as these products focus more on the design than commercialization. Top Eco Friendly Packaging Design and Concept by Patrick Sung
Custom packaging is a nightmare, especially small runs. This idea does address some issues however looking at it i would still use bubble or foam wrap then use this product. However, it would cut down on man hours attempting to make boxes for the smaller company, all ok stating get custom boxes made…try working with deadlines with packaging people on small runs…doesn’t add up. This design rocks – i made this post as Top Eco Friendly Packaging Design & Concept because i love it.
Sure, they use unbleached recycled craft paper, but many of them are also using complex shapes which create waste paper, and glue (which can often make a package unrecyclable). So aware of it, as the designer we must be creative (collect data and info) to present the eco-friendly plus it’s really the eco friendly thing.
